
Milton and Fulston Utd F.C. are an FA Charter Standard Community Club.
In May 2005 Fulston Zebras F.C. achieved FA Charter Standard Youth / Adult Club Status.
This award is renewable every three years, around the time of which the Club amalgamated with Milton Athletic, the Clubs new name becoming Milton and Fulston Utd F C. Rather than the Club working towards renewing the existing Standard, Milton and Fulston Utd F C are proud to advise that in April 2009 we were successful in achieving the status of FA Charter Standard Community Club.
This is the highest award possible under the Standard and we are one of only 19 Clubs in the whole of

FA Charter Standard, what does this all mean?
The FA Charter Standard Club Programme was established in February 2001 to provide recognition that clubs are well run, sustainable, with child protection and safety paramount.
It also recognises the club's commintment to coaching, player and coach development and the raising of standards of behaviour in the game.
The Football Development Strategy 2001-2006 highlighted the importance of club development and of the need to develop a more effective Club structure. It stated that "The Football Association must support clubs who have the potential to a develop a number of teams, providing 'football for all' and 'football for life'."
The FA Charter Standard Club Programme now has three levels:
- FA Charter Standard Club (Youth & Adult)
- FA Charter Standard Development Club
- FA Charter Standard Community Club
Criteria:
In order to successfully apply for the award the club will need to meet set criteria and provide evidence. The main evidence needed is:
- Copy of Club Constitution and Rules
- Set of recent Committee minutes
- Copy of AGM minutes
- Copy of annual accounts
- Copy of Code of Conduct
- Copy of Club Equality Policy
- Copy of Club Safeguarding Children Policy
- Copy of coaching qualifications
- Copy of FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificates
- Copy of First Aid certificates
- At least one person working with every Under 16 team, must be in the receipt of an accepted FA CRB as well as a Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football, a current FA Child Protection certificate and a recognised first aid certificate.
