Milton & Fulston Utd 3 – 3 Sheerness East Youth (11-09-11)

Milton's first game of the season in division 1 saw them play host to Sheerness East. In a closely fought game Milton found themselves 1 nil down early on in the first half. Milton kept their heads up and continued to battle to go in 2-1 up at half time with goals from Reece Gribbin and Tyrone King who made his debut. The second half was much the same as the first with Sheerness finding the net again early on to bring the score to 2-2. Reece Gribbin netted again for Milton to edge them in front but the lead could not be held on to with Sheerness equalizing again. A great team performance from Milton to kick the new season off. Wigmore Youth 8 – 0 Milton & Fulston Utd (18-09-11)

 

Milton travelled away to Wigmore for game 2 of the season. Milton started off a bit slow and were caught out with a very early goal from Wigmore. Milton settled down and played the ball around well but were unable to take advantage of the chances presented to them ,Wigmore on the other hand did take their chances and went on to score another seven goals although the score line was to big to draw back Milton still battled and played football. Real 60 2 – 2 Milton & Fulston Utd (25-09-10)

 

After a hefty loss last week the Milton boys dusted themselves off and travelled away to Real 60. Both teams had a game plan from the off with some good football being played. Half time score 0-0. Real 60 scored early on in the second half with a ball which bounced up and over the Milton goalies head. A spot kick for Real 60 saw them take a 2-0 lead. Milton kept their heads up and continued to pile the pressure on to Real 60 which resulted in a goal from Kane Taylor . With the bit between their teeth Milton battled hard ,some fine saves from keeper Lewis Mitchell kept Real at bay. A shot from the halfway line from Cameron Brown saw the back of 60's net bulge to bring the score level. End to end football made for a nervy finale. MOM whole team.

 

Milton & Fulston Utd 2 – 2 Lordswood Youth (02-10-11)

 

Milton played host to Lordswood in this weekends game. The 1st 15 minutes see both teams playing good football with Lordswood just having the edge this resulted in them scoring a goal and leading 0-1 at half time. Goal number 2 in the second half forced Milton to make some changes to their formation sub Tyrone King made his presence felt with some good runs down the wing. A lovely ball from King saw Reece Gribbin slot the ball over the keeper with a goal under their belts Milton had a belief they could do more. A calmly took penalty from Kane Taylor saw the teams draw level. Milton pushed on with King and Sam Gambell coming close and some fine saves from Milton keeper Lewis Mitchell saw a 2-2 draw. Milton & Fulston Utd 1 – 0 Hempstead Valley (09-10-11)

 

This weekends fixture saw Milton play host to Hempstead Valley , for the first 15 minutes Hempstead brought the game to Milton but strong defending helped soak up the pressure keeping Hempstead out of Milton's goal 0-0 at half time. The second half saw a much more evenly matched game with both teams going for the win. A great goal kick from Milton goalie Lewis Mitchell see the ball fall to striker Reece Gribbin who calmly put the ball over the head of the Hempstead keeper to give Milton the lead. Milton & Fulston Utd 1 – 0 Guru Nanak (24-10-11)

 

Milton & Fulston played host to league leaders Guru Nanak Milton took the game to Guru with Milton being ready from the start of the game. Milton kept their shape well and both teams got the ball down and passed it around nicely both defenses kept strong which see the teams go in at half time 0-0. The second half see both teams make changes with Miltons changes making more of an impact on the game with Sam Gambell making some fantastic runs down the right wing which caused Guru some problems and James Newman doing the same on the left wing. Kane Taylor started to boss the midfield and make some nice passes to the wide man with Milton finally getting their rewards from Sam Gambell getting his first goal of the season Milton stood strong till the end of the game with the whole defence putting in a great performance MOM went to Tyrone King.

 

Milton & Fulston Utd 2 – 4 Woodcoombe Youth (06-11-11)

 

Milton played host to Woodcombe in this weeks fixture after a weeks break Milton started off slow but soon found themselves a goal up from defender Tyrone King. Woodcombe soon found themselves just ahead going in at half time 1-2 up. The second half saw Milton pushing hard for the equalizer which soon came again from Tyrone King running down the wing going past Woodcombe's midfield skipping past their defence and cutting into the box to slot the ball home from an acute angle. Woodcombe went on to score a further 2 goals to win 2-4. MOM Lewis Savage.

 

Guru Nanak 4 – 1 Milton & Fulston Utd (20-11-11)

Milton traveled away to Guru and knew it was going to be a hard game, Guru came at Milton from the start and put the Milton team on the back foot with a goal within a minute of kick off. Milton tried to play football but Guru were to strong and went in 3-0 at half time. A second half goal from Tyrone King lifted Milton a bit only for them to be knocked back again by a disallowed goal. Guru hit the net again to make the score 4-1. Milton man of the match went to goalie Lewis Mitchell.

Woodcombe 4 – 0 Milton & Fulston Utd (27-11-11)

 

Milton traveled away to local rivals Woodcombe and their bad form of not being able to beat the home team followed suit.Milton played much better football in this meeting between the two teams but found themselves 1-0 at half time. The second half saw Milton still playing more good football but it was clear it was not going to be their day. A great Woodcombe free kick saw Milton 2-0 down and chasing the game even more as hard as they tried they just couldn't hit the back of the net. Woodcombe ran out 4-0 winners in the end. Milton & Fulston Utd 6 – 0 Chatham Riverside (04-12-11)

 

Milton played away to Chatham and were in desperate need to get a win under their belts. Matthew Rivett got them off to a great start with a stunning chip from outside the box which saw him net his first ever goal for Milton, Reece Gribbin, Kane Taylor, and James Newman all found the net in the first half Milton went into half time 0-4 up. Chatham came out in the second half with a much stronger display but two more goals from Gribbin and Taylor put the game well out of 10 man Chatham's reach. A much needed 0-6 victory lifted team spirits.

Milton & Fulston Utd 3 – 2 Bredhurst Juniors (11-12-11)

 

Miltons first home game in over a month saw them play host to Bredhurst, who came at Milton from KO with good attacking football saw them lead the home team 0-2 at half time. The second half saw Milton score two quick goals from Reece Gribbin and Kane Taylor to level up. Milton lifted their heads and pushed on for a winner which came from James Newman. Another well deserved much needed win for Milton. Milton man of the match Kane Taylor.

 

Breadhurst Juniors 0 – 2 Milton & Fulston Utd (18-12-11)

 

Milton traveled away to Bredhurst with only a squad of 11 due to sickness. With the teams last weeks meeting in mind Milton played attacking football from the off and saw it pay dividends with a goal from Reece Gribbin a good first half performance all round. Knowing a win would mean first division football again next season Milton carried on pressurizing and bagged goal 2 from captain Lewis Savage who took a free kick from by the corner flag and see the ball hit the back of the net. 3 wins in 3 games saw Milton move up the table going into the Christmas break. Milton man of the match The whole Team for a fantastic performance.

 

Milton & Fulston Utd 1 – 0 Eagles (League Cup) (08-01-12)

 

Milton played host to a very strong division 3 team in Eagles. Milton came out from the start with attack in mind.Eagles stood strong and made it hard for milton to break them down the deadlock was broken 15 minutes in with some good play from the right side of the pitch saw Tyrone King pass a nice ball to Sam Gambell who found the back of the net. Half time score 1-0. Milton pressed more in the second half looking for more goals but Eagles stood strong. New signing Karim Farouli showed what a good addition to the team he will be. Sheerness East Youth 2 - 1 Milton & Fulston Utd (22-01-12)

 

Milton started the game brightly and took the game to Sheerness from the off. Reece Gribbin caused the Sheerness defence problems with his pace. A good ball played out from the Milton defence found Gribbin who beat two Sheerness defenders to square the ball across the area to Sam Gambel who slotted the ball past the keeper. Sheerness pressed Milton and got the equalizer before half time. The second half saw much of the same with both teams going for the win. Sheerness came out on top with the winning goal being deflected past the Milton keeper. A well fought game with a good team display by Milton. MOM: George Pierce.
